Tradivo is a simulator, not a broker. No real money is ever deposited, invested, traded or withdrawn. Nothing in Tradivo is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Profit in the simulation does not mean profit in a real market.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Tradivo ("Tradivo", "we", "us"), covering your use of the Tradivo app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. What Tradivo is
Tradivo is an educational paper-trading platform. It lets you study lesson content and practise placing simulated options trades against market prices, using virtual currency inside your account.
Tradivo is not:
• a stockbroker, trading member, clearing member or depository participant;
• an investment adviser or research analyst registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India;
• a portfolio manager, mutual fund distributor or payment service;
• a route to any real exchange. No order you place reaches any exchange or broker.
3. No investment advice
All content in the Service — lessons, topics, examples, questions, market commentary and news — is general educational information. It takes no account of your financial position, objectives or risk tolerance, and it is not a recommendation, solicitation or offer to deal in any security.
Trading in derivatives carries a high risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Decide for yourself, and take advice from a SEBI-registered adviser before risking real money. You are solely responsible for any real-world decision you take.
4. Market data
Prices, option chains and related data come from a third-party market-data provider. We pass that data to you for educational use only. It may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted or wrong, and it may not match what a live exchange or broker shows.
You may not redistribute, resell, republish or store market data obtained through the Service, or use it for any commercial purpose or any automated system. We give no warranty as to its accuracy, timeliness or availability.
5. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. The Service is offered for use in India; if you use it elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with your local law. You may hold one account, and you must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
6. Your account
• Keep your password confidential, and do not let anyone else use your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@tradivo.in if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• We may require you to verify your email address before some features work.
7. Virtual currency has no value
Virtual balance
The balance, margin, profit and loss shown in your Tradivo account are simulated units for practice. They are not money, not a deposit, not a claim on us and not a financial product.
• Virtual currency cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, transferred, sold or exchanged for anything of value.
• We may credit, adjust or reset virtual balances at any time, including to correct an error or a manipulation.
• You have no right to compensation if a virtual balance, position or score is changed, reset or lost.
8. Simulated results
Simulated trading differs from real trading in ways that usually flatter the result. Among other things, the simulation may not reproduce brokerage and statutory charges, bid-ask spreads, slippage, order queues, partial fills, liquidity limits, margin calls or the emotional pressure of risking your own money.
Past or simulated performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Any score, ranking, profit figure or statistic in the Service describes the simulation only.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• exploit a bug, pricing error or other defect to inflate a virtual balance, score or ranking — and to tell us at support@tradivo.in if you find one;
• access the Service by any automated means, or scrape, crawl or bulk-extract content or data;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive our source code, or interfere with or probe our systems beyond ordinary use;
• circumvent rate limits, authentication or any technical restriction;
• create multiple or fake accounts, or impersonate anyone;
• copy, redistribute or republish our lesson content or market data;
• use the Service to give financial advice to others, or to present simulated results as real trading performance;
• upload anything unlawful, infringing or malicious, or use the Service to break any law.
10. Our content, your content
The Service, including its lessons, text, graphics, design and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own learning. Nothing else is granted.
Anything you submit — notes, feedback, support messages — stays yours, but you grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the Service. Do not submit anything confidential.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features depend on third parties, including our market-data provider, and market data is available only when that provider supplies it, generally during market hours. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and we will give reasonable notice of a material change where we can.
12. Suspension and closing your account
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a risk to other users or to the Service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that any educational content is complete or current, or that any market data is accurate.
Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, trading loss, loss of data, loss of goodwill or loss arising from a real-world decision you took after using the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or any advice or representation you give to another person based on the Service.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
17. General
If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a business transfer. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
We may update these terms. We will change the "last updated" date and, for a material change, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
18. Contact and grievances
For support, or to raise a complaint, contact us using the details below. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them within the timelines set by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
